Yes.

We sell netFoxAPI client software for VMS. This software will allow you =
to
open a read data set on the points of interest. The OM will transfer =
the
data on a change driven basis to the AW. The VAX can read the data
periodically or block for changes as appropriate.

There are other solutions for other platforms, but for VMS based =
systems,
netFoxAPI is your best bet.

        A while back, I reported a problem we had with the upload function
in our I/A system.
        I'm glad to inform that the source of the problem was found to be an
rpc client=20
        program running in an external Vax computer that we use to pull in
data (about=20
        500 variables) into our refinery's real time database. This
interface was causing
        a lot of OM scanner overruns in some of the systems' stations. The
problem was
        also reflected in frequent slowdowns of display callups. Does any
body know of an
        efficient way to transfer these many variables out of the I/A system
?
