Alex, We currently apply both PI data collector (PIAPI) for PI Server and OPC = Interface for OCS Advance Control Server.=20 They run data collection paralelly in single AW, although most of the = data are the same. You can imagine how this scheme overload the AW. This = indeed not the efficient way of managing data collection. We are expecting to use the PIAPI Interface for main data collector, = while OPC will interface to this PIAPI. This will surely reduce the AW = loading finally. Have you got any information regarding the possibility of interfacing = PIAPI-OPC? Thanking you in advance. PI's native collector does. I think that makes it much more valuable. PI is supported through OSI, they provide the piclient/piapi interface = that works with FoxAPI. OPC Server is available from on NT/XP platforms. OPC Server = functionality is achieved on 50 Series systems by adding a 70 Series box to your configuration.
