Oh, this is a bug? I thought the disabled sendmail was a result of Foxboro
finally addressing some security issues.... <g>.
In any case, I'm leaving mine disabled. Sendmail does not have to be
loaded at startup (i.e., run as a daemon) if you are only sending outgiong
mail (which we are).

Stan,
Check your /etc/rc2.d directory. Very likely the "S88sendmail" script is
named
"s88sendmail". Notice the lowercase "s". That means that sendmail is not
started by default anymore.
And the answer to your next problem: add a domain name to your hostfile.
So the "151.128.8.65 AW5101" entry in the /etc/hosts file should look like
"151.128.8.65 AW5101 AW5101."
Notice the dot and the end of the line, that is part of the syntax.
Letterbug and IP address are examples ofcourse..
After you start sendmail it will start complaining in /var/adm/messages
about "unqualified hostname". That's why you
need to edit your hostfile.
Marco.
