Pat,

I am not exactly sure of what you are trying to accomplish but I think it is
a non-connectable but settable parameter so maybe a IND block writing the
desired value?  If/When you want to override this value just transfer the
IND block to manual?

Does anyone know of a way to secure the compound ON/OFF parameter other than
the environment ACL's?  I am on a system that has rev 9.1 through 7.6 using
ICC and FoxView 10.4.2, of course the 7.6 box has Display Manager.
