Re: [foxboro] printers on WP30's ?

Stan..usually the first issue is you just can't edit the /etc/printers
file....there is specific place holders. However, experienced users like
yourself may already have experienced that.

Second...did you edit the /usr/fox/ia16/etc/printers file on the AW

Third..only type 9 or type 10 printer will show up in Select Printer menu

Fourth.. if all else fails..run /usr/foxbin/allmact to make all menus
active. Maybe the list will change.

Subject: [foxboro] printers on WP30's ?

I helped a co worker set up to use a networked printer for their screen
prints. In their area they have several WP30's that are hosted off of AW's.
I added the correct line to /etc/printers on these host AW's, and the host
AW's can print to the printer. But when I bring up "select printer" in DM
on the WP30's, I don't see the new printer.

What's the magic behind getting this list updated on the WP30's ?
