I've had good success with the HP2280 series here. Most I've installed
have been the 2280tn (tn - has network port), and normal installation has
the I/A workstation using the parallel port connection and the corporate
network (operator PCs) using the network port. Having a common printer
means that it is used more regularly (keeps print head from plugging) and
that there is no temptation to empty the paper tray of the I/A printer when
the network printer runs out.

Hi list,
I am looking for a new postscript printer (parralel port) for AW51E
(V6.2.1).
Do you have experience of HP2280 or something else ?. I am looking for
professionnal printer. major application : Printscreen.
HP 6122 does not seem to be professional enough.
I have been changing HP895 each year !!!.
Thank you all
