Chris,

Check your station in System Management. Look under Equip Info and compare
the two fields "PRIM Hard Date" and "SHAD Hard Date". If they are
different, open the back door of the cabinet and check for silver labels
with part number and serial number. In many cases, the "Hard Date" will be
digits 3-6 of the serial number.

To minimize problems like this, we label the front of the modules with the
address.

While I believe my fate is sealed, is there any way to determine which modu
=
le in a formerly fault tolerant pair has succumed to green death?

How do other users avoid this jam (ROM address marked on the front)?

How prevalent is green death? Histories with HW/SW data might be helpful.

Thanks in advance for all input,
Chris Hehn
