Re: [foxboro] goglobal replacement

I have decided to remove GoGlobal from the pricebook.

They will no longer ship V1.65 and there are issues with it, e.g., support
of our remote draw based configurators.

Their replacement product GoGlobal-UX has issues as well and we have been
unable to get them to address them.

Thus, I do not have a GraphOn offering for Solaris 8.

We will continue to sell and support Hummingbird's eXceed which works well
over corporate networks.

Terry,

GO-Global 1.65 does work with Solaris 8 but now you have to tell it what
Window to start in (goglobal -desktop openwin) and GO-Global will no longer
automatically launch a display manager (DM or FV). You now have to select it
from the OpenWindow pick.

If you are currently using Exceed, however, I would just stick with Exceed
and not switch to Go-Global for more functionality and better long-term
support.

currently using Exceed but were thinking of going to Goglobal.

any suggestions as to what to replace Goglobal with.   I want something
