Hi Ignacio,

The traditional cause of this problem was that when the historian is =
installed, two lines are added to /usr/fox/wp/bin/shutdown.sh:

/opt/fox/hstorian/bin/histonoff -v OFF
sleep 1

If these two lines are present, remove them.

I haven't used legacy historian on V7.x, so I don't know if this is =
likely to be your problem, but it's worth checking.

SysDef and committals are good at adding things to the system but not =
good at taking them away. =20

Hello,
 I have a P81 station (V.7.1.1 Solaris 8). This box originally was =
installed with Historian, but without collection points.
We need to install AIM historian, and configure it,
we modify the SysDef file deleting the Historian (the asignation to the =
station), and adding FoxHistory to install AIM*AT.=20
Then we Recommitt the AW without problems, but when we try to do a =
shutdown the station does not respond.
The reboot operation is working.
how I can solve the shutdown problem?
