Re: [foxboro] flow meter

At our plant we use emersson (micromotion) flowmeters, also some foxboro (and 
some other miscellaneous but are just few), mostly micromotion. They work well 
with IA using HART protocol. I have seen that the important thing is that the 
flowmeter should be sized to obtein the best precision and not to go too far 
because if it works with a small flow to the nominal size we obtein problems 
later with callibration and totalizers (accum) bercome untrustable.

I read the specs of these meters and they can handle the 4-20mA and also DC 
signals and some other we hav them working with pulse.
