Re: [foxboro] fdf 2 g

Hi,
The problem is that the actual tool that does the conversion "m1g" could not be
located. IPS has put all the SL tools in a separate directory called gms\bin.
Maybe something like D:\opt\gms\bin. It should work when the path of this
directory is defined in your PATH environment. Though it is still strange that
the fdf_g doesn't resolve this issue.
Well, good luck.

Subject: [foxboro] fdf 2 g

Gentlemen:
We are trying to convert and transfer automatically fdf files on
Solaris I/A 6.5.5 to Windows 2003 Server I/A 8.4, but fdf_g doesn´t work.
Do you have some clues about what is happening?
When fdf files are converted throught FoxView using convert it works, but not
using the command line utility.

The terminal session follows...

AW5101# pwd
/usr/fox/wp/bin/tools
AW5101# fdf_g /opt/disp/u1200/m1203.fdf
Processing File: /opt/disp/u1200/m1203.fdf Converting Model File:
/opt/disp/u1200/m1203.m1 to
                /opt/disp/u1200/m1203.g
sh: m1g: not found

Created File /opt/disp/u1200/m1203.g

Total Number of files Converted: 1

AW5101# ls -al /opt/disp/u1200/m1203.g
/opt/disp/u1200/m1203.g: No such file or directory AW5101#

Thanks,
Regards
