If you are using the "User Display" feature and the AAtab file changes you
mut kill and restart both aa_wp50 and ast as this file is used by both
tasks. "User Display" will not work properly unless both the AAtab and AApan
files are reloaded by ast.

Killing aa_wp50 will definately load the TAB file.....(however remember
whenn aa_wp50 respawns it initializes the CAD display as well)
So, unless you have common alarm group backup configured, alarms on the
CAD will be lost. (same as reboot)
To load the PAN file pref -WP1001 ascmd " loadalmpnl
/usr/fox/alarms/WPlogicalnameAApan "
Been doing both of these procedures for 10 years
