Dear Steve,
Exactly! Because you have 51E's you should NOT use the antique =
dump0-8mm
stuff. The QF uses the relevant drivers for the relevant 50 series =
stations
(yes, for 50, 51A, 51B, 51B1, 51C, 51D, 51E and 51E1 !! WP's, AP's as =
well
as AW's - mirrored and/or concatenated drives as well as RAID 1 and 5
drives, the QF covers it all as long as you are on I/A version 4.3 or
higher)
However, I agree, Foxboro/Invensys has done a very poor job in relation =
to
making you, our customers, aware of this QF.
Although not optimal yet, it is a significant step forward in the
backup/restore procedure for the 50 series.
As my P.I.C. (Partner In Crime) Ron Deen already indicated, get the QF =
from
the CSC web site and get familiar with its usage. All comments are =
welcome
and should result in an even better version in the near future.
Sorry for letting you (and many others) struggle with the old stuff for =
such
a long time.
Best regards,
