Hi Daniele, This may be quite an important detail: The FAT32 partitions do not support extended attributes. I do not know if internally AIM*Historian is using extended attributes, but if it does, your FAT32 partition cannot handle these. It may well be that the error message you see in the log is actually caused by an inability to change extended attributes on an existing file located on the remote FAT32 partition. Unfortunately I do not have any personal experience with AIM and FAT32. I would suggest you find yourself a test system with NTFS, move some files from the W2K/FAT32 computer to a shared folder on the NTFS system and then repeat the test. Regards, Alex Dumitru, Eng. Could be that the problem? By sharing a partition which is FAT32 everyone is able to access/modify the data and in fact from the AW70 PC I can access and modify the data stored in the hist01 folder. But I am still getting the same access error.
