Re: I thought ArchestrA was using XML as it's preferred method to
communicate with other applications.
XML is not a communication protocol. It's a data description language.
SOAP is a protocol that can move XML and web services build on that.
.net in part is based on web services. =
So,
If you are asking if ArchestrA uses .net. The answer is yes. It is used
extensively, e.g., the InFusion Application Environment supports C# and
the IEE uses .net technology throughout.
If you are asking if web services are used for all inter-process
communication, the answer is no. There are ArchestrA applications that
use web services, e.g., our SAP interfaces.
Does this help?
Is there a press release that says something different?

OK, let me re-phrase that. I thought ArchestrA was using XML as it's =
preferred method to communicate with other applications.
Or are press releases wrong?
