Re: [foxboro] check the PIAPI configurations & how the raw data filtered and sent to PI server

Hi Hani,
We use the pi addin in Exell to configure our tags, the exception
deviation, compression and scan rate in indicated in this file. You can
open it by using the pi SMTpulldown menu "Import tags"

the other file which is important but as far as I know has nothing to do
with the exceptions is the foxapi.cfg. This holds the fastest scan rate
for the snapshots, the max number of tags etc....But the exception
settings per tag are determined in the excel file (at least for version
4.0.#)

In order to use the pi addin your client pc should have these files in the
xlstart directory : pitagcnf.xla and piextcnf.xla

[foxboro] check the PIAPI configurations & how the raw data filtered and
sent to PI server

Gentlemen;
In our side we have AW 51D and it has PI collector (PIAPI), I want to
check the PIAPI configurations such as the snap time and exception
percentage of samples which are sending to PI, there is a PI collector to
collect the raw data and do filtering of raw data and do exception which
will send the significant changes in data to PI server, I want to know how
I get the exception percentage?

Please share your knowledge about how the raw data filtered and sent to PI
server.

Best regards
Hani
