Re: [foxboro] Xfree86

If you are running it on Windoze, you will either have to set your Windoze
desktop to 256 colors, or run it in "full screen" mode and set the depth to
256 colors using the "-fullscreen" and "-depth 8" arguments to XWin.exe.
Neither of these was to my liking, but may work for you. Pseudocolor
support is on the "to do" list....

The other thing I wanted to try when I got a chance is the "nested" X
server, which is both an X client (to the main XWin server) and a server
(to any applications you point at it). This theoretically should allow you
to run a Pseudocolor visual.

Or you can look into VNC (www.realvnc.com).

Hi,

I am triyng with the xfree86. I have already installed, but, the colors are
bad. With exceed the fix was enable pseudocolor, but I do not know what can
I do in the xfree. I think that I will have problems with the fonts too.

Someone has experience with the xfree? What can I do ?
