Try applic instead of run.
I suggest reviewing the command as described in B0193DF since there are
differences in the Solaris and Windows implementations.
One important point is that using applic only one command runs at a time
unless you put an ampersand(&) at the end of it.

Subject: [foxboro] XP running an executable program in an Unix Sun Box
Hi guys,
=
We are in the process of adding some XP workstations to an existing
V6.5.2
Unix system. We have a problem getting a button, which runs a dmcmd, to
work on the XP platform. The button, which works fine on the Unix
FoxView
platform.
=
run rsh -n A1AW01 /opt/foxind/etsa/pcalc/bin/demand 2 >
/var/tmp/demand.log
=
A1AW01 is a 51B workstation. "demand" is an Sun Sparc executable file.
=
Is there some variation of the syntax that will enable this command to
be
launched by the a button on the XP platform?
