You can also use the env files an entry to run from the menu pick or
pick from the right click dropdown. This is how I start remote desktop
from my environment with a simple right click of the mouse(on an empty
display area) and access the main server without ever starting up
explorer or having the taskbar available. This line is in
/opt/fox/env/disp.mnu
COMMAND -label "RemoteDesktop" -cmd "run $windir\system32\mstsc.exe"

Entoro,

If this program starts at boot and runs forever, try starting it from
fox_apps. If the Operator needs to start it; use a graphic to start the
program. If the engineer starts it, let him use the explorer to start
it.

Is there some other constraint on running your program?
