Re: [foxboro] X Terminal

No, it has a floppy drive and CDROM drive.
And teh X Terminal is up and running.
Here below is what I did:
I used exceed installed on the X-terminal to access teh AW, but an error
message appeared that AW can not accessed with that command.
Then I tried to change the "hosts" file, and the"netmasks" file with the
X-terminal information with negative result.
Do I have to do something else on the AW. And which CD you are talking about,
Which CD label, so I ask to search.

Regards

Is the X-Terminal diskless?
If so, the X-Terminal usually requires a bootup (bootp) host, which was
probably your AW.
You are probably missing the X-Terminal bootup files on your AW, and
probably need to configure bootp - all of which would happen =
automatically
if you have the X-terminal CD.

Subject: [foxboro] X Terminal

Hi, list
=20
I am facing a situation where somebody reinstalled DAY0 to an AW, and =
did a
manual restore (not everything). Now teh X-Terminal connected to that
ststion originally can not access that AW. What I should do to =
reconfigure
that AW again other than:
1- change teh hosts file
2- change teh netmasks file
=20
It mentioned in fox doc that I have to use a X-Terminal CD!!!
=20
Does any body has an answer?

Regards to all of you.
