Please do the following:
1) Call up the detail display and check the SRC of the parameter. This =
will
show what the CP thinks is the correct source.
2) Use the ICC to view the same parameter. This will say what the ICC =
thinks
is the correct source.
Next, you need to know that there are several ways to change a =
connection:
1) The ICC which we all know and love
2) The ICC Driver Task - /opt/fox/ciocfg/api/iccdrvr.tsk. See B0193NE
Integrated Control Configurator Application Programming Interface
3) The tool setpars - /opt/fox/bin/tools/setpars. See the file =
setpars.man
in the same directory.
4) The ICC API - documented in B0193NE.=20
The ICC Driver task is used by FoxCAE and certain other packages =
including
the DMCplus Bridge and the 'I' map of AOS. It changes both the target =
CP and
the ICC's source file. This tool is also used by the newer IACC.
The setpars tool changes only the target CP and leaves the workfile =
alone.
To my knowledge, only the I/O Gate configurator - and ICC Driver Task =
of
course - use the ICCAPI directly and I'm not sure that all of the =
header
files are shipped to enable its use by end-users. For that reason, you
should be able to discount this as a source of your problem.
To determine what is going on, you could:
1) Install FoxCTS to track changes to your controllers. This will let =
you
know if anyone is using the ICC or ICC Driver task to make changes.
2) Make iccdrvr.tsk and setpars non-executable or move them which will =
keep
them from running. This should cause the culprit to complain about =
their
loss.
Hope this helps.=20

Dear Foxboro members,
We got problem with description below :
1. We have sink address : PROCWTR_SG1:SAG_SCALE.RI02 with source =
address :
APNRFDR_SG2:WIT30201.PNT
2. Suddenly, we found that the source adress had changed to
SAG_IMAGE:AI30201C_AVG.RI02
3. Another day we found again that sink address : =
PROCWTR_SG1:SAG_SCALE.RI02
with source : APNRFDR_SG2:WIT30201.PNT was changed automatically to =
another
address : SAG_IMAGE:AI30201C_AVG.RI02.
with no one had felt change the source address via ICC.
Have anyone ever experienced with this wierd problem ?
Is the problem related to the PI system ?
