David,
I do not have test equipment to verify the actual operation (defaults, =
etc), but my understanding is no, you cannot do this.
The DNBT has one ethernet port and one serial port. The AW70 configured =
for connection to DNBT gets confirmation of the letterbug inserted into =
the DNBT from the DNBT's serial port. Once the serial port confirms the =
letterbug, the ethernet port is ready for communication.
The AW70 configured for connection to the MESH will not expect any =
serial comnmunication and will not be able to toggle the DNBT from =
Nodebus A to Nodebus B. This AW will have two ethernet ports expecting a =
connection to the MESH.

Hi guys,
This may be quite obvious, but I am still seeking clarification. I am =
needing to load a graphics testbed, and would like to be able to =
temporarily replace an I/A version 6.2 NT workstation using a DNBT =
connection, with an XP workstation running Foxview/FoxDraw 10.1. (This =
will be goin MESH later this year.) The FoxView/FoxDraw CD says for 8.X =
systems. Can I connect an 8.X system to a nodebus via DNBT or is it =
strictly MESH. If so, will FoxDraw v10.1 run on an I/A v 7.1.1 PC =
although it's not "officially"
supported.
Thanks,
David
