The Foreign Device Gateway can be set up to talk almost any protocol.  It's 
difficult to get set up but once you get it up and running it is very reliable.

We've got IQ100 of an older generation here. At least on them, they speak a
proprietory protocol. Westinghouse sells (oe sold) a gateway to that
netwrok, conceptually similar to an AB 177-KF2. We then talk RS-232, using
that protocol to them. I'm not certain how you would get this done in IA.

Hope that helps. BTW on our IQ's the network module is an add on peice for
each IQ.
