Subject: Re: [foxboro] WP's NSAP and MAC addresses

Sean,

All of the nodebus stations on the wire (fibre) for that one node have to use
the same NSAP so I am assuming that you are doing all the stations, not just a
WP. Your CP's will also need a reboot with the new NSAP. Running with stations
on the same nodebus yet different NSAP's can lead to big problems. If you just
do the WP and that WP takes over as device monitor master, you can lose all
your alarms, even between CP's and WP's using the same NSAP.

When a software install is correctly done, the IIF.prm file contains the
correct data and you can see the NSAP (or figure them out easily) for all
stations including CP's.
