Currently there is no way around it. There are 2 patches that break I/A from
running. Unfortunately the patches are embedded in SP2 and no way to strip
them out individually. All hot fix security patches that have been qualified
are on the Foxboro CSC website, including the ones that break I/A which are
marked in RED. Some users think they can install SP2, then remove it, you
will then see all Patches listed individually in Add/Remove programs and
then removed the patches that break I/A. Obviously this is not a good
workaround since you have removed the SP2 core software.

Subject: [foxboro] WP70
I have just had our IT group replace 2 WP70s which act as alarm
stations. Licences ordered from Foxboro etc.
After the PCs arrive, I am then informed by Foxboro that XP service
pack 2 is not compatible with WP70s.
Is there a way around this?
Thanks for your help.
