Re: [foxboro] WP problems - persisting

Joen,

Do you have annunciator keyboards configured for both WPs?

You need two files for each WP an alarm panel file, <wplnam>AAPAN, and an
alarm table file, <wplnam>AATAB. The filenames must include the workstation
logical name. If you only have one set for the WP where the annunciator
works just copy the files and reboot the WP.

Subject: [foxboro] WP problems - persisting

hallo, guys
pls. help me out on the following problem:
system: 2 WP (old), and 1 AP (new, Z-series), I/A Series ver 6.1.1
one of the WPs is suffering from:
    * annunciator keyboard being not functioning, no LED nor horn
    * annunciator keyboard cannot associate with displays
    * cannot start VT100 session
reboot station is normal, with similar result
cabling check OK
putting the annunciator keyboard into the other WP, and functioning OK
my guess is that it needs AP reboot; am i correct?
thank you in advance for all suggestions
cheers
