If the strange color is not permanent then you need to check connections and 
cables. Connections - this means that you have to check the video card and the 
screen input for broken solder connections. 

If you use electrolysis in your gold processing, you could have magnetic 
interference but if the strange color is very infrequent, I don't think 
interference is the cause.

Has any one ran into issues with the Video cards on the P91 & P92 units.
We are running dual monitor video card on both our P91 & P92 with a
y-cable. This is happening on both units. The screen goes blueish-purple
every once and a while. By wiggling the cable the problem goes away. I
thought it was a marginal y-cable so I replaced them but this was not
the cause.  I also check the stress on the cables, and made sure that
they have slack.

Any Ideas, or is it just the connection to cards?
