The loading is the same on the CP60 as if you were using standard blocks
i.e. period and phasing. Now, I have not seen it loaded to 2000 points so I
can only take the sales side.
We are using the 224 to talk to an AB on a Solar Turbine. Beats the heck
out of an AB Station and is way better than an Integrator. Next step will
be to use the Ethernet FBM to replace our existing AB Stations. That one we
haven't tried yet!

Running the FBM 224 (Modbus) ........ what a kicka..... device!!!! It can
handle 2000 point at a 1 second scan. It is a little tricky to configure,
but not too bad make sure and read all the way through the documentation as
I felt like some of the step were slightly out of order. Has been a while
since Josh Nix and I set it so I don't remember all of the details, but it
wasn't as bad as doing an Integrator 30.
Current project calls for Modbus and Profibus (tied to Siemens PLCs). Not
there yet, but sometime after the first of the year.

We are running 6.5 on several B Boxes with DM and the old historian. No
problems at all. Reason we went to 6.5 was for the new communications FBM's
which are really great. Of course you have to have CP60's as well.

Anyone have an opinion on what Rev I should goto. I am currently running
6.1 with "B" boxes. Foxboro is telling me I need to goto 6.5 to resolve a
few issues with my one new "F" box. I don't plan to change hardware but
over time will move to more "F" boxes. Will 6.5 run with B boxes? I also
plan to stick with DM and the old historian.
Thanks,
Brian
