We have been running 6.5.1 on a system for over a year with an AW51B, an
AW51E, a NT AW70, and 7 WP51Ds. DM works fine (with the exception of a
Display Configurator bug that was reintroduced in 6.3) on all the 51
boxes; legacy historian works fine on the two AWs. In less than a month
we are going to replace the AW51B with an AW51G running legacy historian,
DM and mirrored FC drives (not RAID -- yep, it _does_ work), replacing the
AW70 with an XP one, and adding 3 WP51Fs. The 70 and the Fs and Gs will
be running 7.1.
Don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but the D boxes are about
the most unreliable Sun item we've ever dealt with. They break far more
often than the Bs and Es, and we've even had several we received on MEP
exchange fail within hours or days. I hope the Fs and Gs are better.

Anyone have an opinion on what Rev I should goto. I am currently running
6.1 with "B" boxes. Foxboro is telling me I need to goto 6.5 to resolve a
few issues with my one new "F" box. I don't plan to change hardware but
over time will move to more "F" boxes. Will 6.5 run with B boxes? I
also
plan to stick with DM and the old historian.
