Re: [foxboro] UNACK bit of a BLNALM block

Alarms are not acknowledged in the I/A Series. Blocks are acknowledged.

So, what you are seeing is also true for AIN blocks with both High and
High-High alarms active.

Your only option is a CIN block for each point in your BLNALM block.

The MAIN, TIM, and BLNALM blocks are on my list of least useful blocks.

Subject: [foxboro] UNACK bit of a BLNALM block

        Hi All,

We are using several BLNALM block's for generating ALARMS (alarm
bits that
are comming from a Gateway) and my question is:
How can I see wich alarm of the BLNALM block is already
Acknoweledged and
        wich alarm not ?
The Block description mention only one UNACK bit for all 8 alarms

When I acknowledge One alarm for instance via the Alarm manager all
other
        alarms are also acknowledged !

How can I solve this problem ? I don't want to create for every
alarm a
        different block !

        Thanks.
