Jim
As far as I known, there is a possibility to disable the left and right
switches.
If you open the track ball you will find internal three switches one for
each button.
may be this can help you a little bit.

Subject: [foxboro] Track Balls
Has anyone had complaints from their operators on the new 51 series =
trackball (P0915FU) that Foxboro is providing as a replacement for the old =
(P0970NG) trackball? We recently had to purchase some new ones and with =
the old being obsolete we took the replacements. However, I have had =
nothing but negative comments. They don't seem to be industrial models. =
In fact if you read the label on the bottom, they state "For Home and =
Office Use". They are very sensitive and with the buttons to the left and =
right of the trackball, I am getting complaints of the buttons being =
pushed when they do not want them pushed. Is there any other brands out =
in the market that anyone has used to replace the older style?
Thanks,
Jim Kahlden
