I wasn't aware that one could retain the files in the /usr folder.
Why is /opt/menu a problem? We found, with our limited experience of
FoxView so far, putting them there made life easy.
You can't use GConvert to convert g files to the same location (didn't
consider this possibility). What I suggest is if you want to do this,
have a single mapping from /usr/ to /hello/ or what ever you like, and
when the conversion is finished, rename the hello directory to usr
(after renaming /usr to something else).
I don't know what you mean by "the display file may still retain the old
path names". It's a three stage process. 1) DM (pdf) to g. 2) g to g. 3)
g to fdf. During stage 2, GConvert converts all paths as far as I know.
There is no mechanism to convert the DM Markers in g convert. It only
performs the 3 functions mentioned in the documentation. I confess I
don't know what DM markers are?
