Re: [foxboro] Telemetry

We also have a C program that reads floating point values using the "message
pass-thru" functionality of the Integrator. This doesn't get it into a
C:B.P, but can be quite useful for other purposes and you could then put it
into a shared variable or something if you don't need it too often. I'm
working on a Perl/TK front end to allow easy occasional examination (and
setting) of any random bits and registers in the PLC without ICC
configuration.

Loyd,

I have a setup using a mcin, calc and ain blocks to get 2 register floating
point on the modbus side into the Foxboro ain block if the floating point is
the only issue limiting the use of the I30B.

    Thanks Alex,

I believe what I will need is just a slave. Configuring the controller
and remote terminals is done by another group. I feel just fine letting them
maintain that responsibility. We are reading a PH at the wells and I will
have to find out if that is an integer or floating point.
