netAIM*API clients use the port number assigned in the appropriate
configuration file:

NetFoxAPI Server reads /opt/fox/ais/bin/an_init.tcp
NetFoxAPI Clients read an an_init.cfg file - sometime from their director=
y
sometimes from other locations
AIM*API Server read /opt/aim/bin/an_init.tcp
AIM*API Clients read (I think) an_init.cfg files

There is a line in each file that resembles (syntax will vary):

*servr =3D 127.0.0.1 45678 /dev/tcp 1024

The port number is the number following the IP address. In this example, =
it
is 45678.

It can be varied to suit the installation.
