There are several option:
There is an add-on product called Event Driven Scripts.
Q0301JJ Event Driven Scripts for Windows NT
The core technology for FoxPage is now available separately to allow
users to invoke scripts and programs of their choice based on I/A Series
Events. Supported events include Process Alarms, SysMon alarms, and OAJ
messages.
Q0301JK Event Driven Scripts for Solaris
The core technology for FoxPage is now available separately to allow
users to invoke scripts and programs of their choice based on I/A Series
Events. Supported events include Process Alarms, SysMon alarms, and OAJ
messages.
It will let you run anything you want when alarm, OAJ, SysMon, SOE,
or Seq Blk messages are received. It has powerful filtering capabilities and
makes each field of the message available as an argument to your script.
It is really quite nice.
