Re: [foxboro] Standalone Foxdraw on XP

This may not meet your needs or tell you any things that you did not already
know. But, i have converted over 300 graphics from Solaris to XP platform on
Foxboro IA systems.

These are the steps I used.
1. convert file from fdf_g
2. copy to a disk or CD
3. Load files in the XP machine.
4. Converted back from g_fdf.

I have encounteded no problem. It I want a different font type than what IA
provided, I just loaded the new font in the machine (same location where all
fonts are loaded).

Hello all,

I have a standalone development version of Foxdraw 99.2.1 that I have used
successfully on windows NT and even once in a pinch on a Win 98 machine. I
recently upgraded to XP and now whenever I convert a .g file from a Solaris
workstation, all of the text seems to be running uphill and is several
times larger than on the Solaris box. I am running Foxdraw in windows NT
compatability mode and with 256 colors checked. Doesn't seem to fix this
problem. Seems like a font issue, but I don't know how to fix it. Anyone
else experienced this problem?

Regards,
David
