The xref utility has two distinct reports: 1. Cmp:Blk.Prm references, and 2. FBM point usage The FBM usage report will tell you what is on each point of each FBM. The points that are "missing" are the spares. I don't think it can be much easier than that - i.e. no thinking involved. BTW - If you are using MCIN, MAIN, and MCOUT blocks - this FBM usage report has the smarts built-in to figure out what individual points are used in those MCIN, MAIN and MCOUT blocks by checking for individual point references in displays, control, and sequence. This is not typically available from other fbm-loading utilities. I envsioned somethink LIKE that, but with a list of the types of points found on each kind of FBM. So you could get a list of all the analog ins/outs, digital ins/outs, etc. Without having to think too hard :) --=20 Patron saints in general are broadband connections to the Almighty - Michelle Delio, Wired News _______________________________________________________________________ This mailing list is neither sponsored nor endorsed by Invensys Process Systems (formerly The Foxboro Company).
