Re: [foxboro] Silence Horn functionality without Annunciator Keyboard

Andreas

You could easily right a little IND block that monitors a boolean input fr=
om your field I/O & executes the "pref" command to silence the horn when it=
 comes in.

The source code that would actually do the silence call would look like thi=
s:

(ignore the 3D as this is an equal sign)
:01WP01DMCMD :=3D "dmcmd run /usr/local/pref -01WP01 amcmd silence_horns" ;

Where 01WP01 is the Letter Bug name of a machine on the network.
This will also silence all the stations that in the CAG too!

Other amcmd commands include: mute_all_horns & unmute_all_horns see documen=
t B0193RV for more.

Good Luck

Peter

Subject: [foxboro] Silence Horn functionality without Annunciator Keyboard

Hi List,

are their any installations using a separate mechanical button (electricall=
y wired to the I/A) to silence the horn?

There is no way to use the software or hardware Annunciator keyboard.

I could think on a FBM input and a block which sets the FBM-Horn-Output to =
false but there may be a better solution.

Regards,
Andreas
