If you are using the display manger , just configure a PB and assign it to a
boolean input on on the calc block (i.e. BI01 , BI02 , etc.) , in the calc
in STEP's section , i.e. 
STEP01 CST (This clears the stack)
STEP01 IN BI01 (This assigns the boolean state of BI01 to STEP01 )
STEP02 OUT BO01 (This will read the value of BI01 to the output BO01)
