Re: [foxboro] Service Agreement

We have had a service agreement since initial installation of the
system. It has proved to be very worthwhile when using MEP for repairs,
24/7 call out and telephone support. As I am the only Foxboro literate
person on site, the service engineer rate and expertise has proved good
value - also saves me from call outs. Negotiated every year and
increases have been CPI only.

Good Morning,
We are in process of negotiating our new Service Agreement with
Invensys,
and as we do every 3 years, we are struggling with understanding the
value
we receive from this agreement. How many of the Users on the list have
an
agreement with Invensys and do you feel it is a good value? For those
that
do not have an agreement, have you had any issues that you feel could
have
been handled better with a service agreement? We have had an agreement

since 1993, but have always struggled that the money may be better
spent
in a different direction.
Thanks in advance for your ideas,
