Ted, you nailed it. That's exactly my plan. I know its not an elegant
solution but as long as it works well, it buys us time until we can get budget
funds to replace the dcs. I'll talk to you tomorrow.

Tim,
Are you trying to use Foxboro's async serial interface to a Spectrum
MultiStation (SMS)?
When I used to work for Foxboro we used to write programs to provide
custom data transfer between SMS and off platform hosts.
If you are trying to create a program to run on Open VMS and
communicate via a serial link to a SMS I may have some information
still filed away related to this. Contact me off list and I'll let you
know what I have if this is what you are doing.
