Subject: [foxboro] Sendmail error

List,
=20

Whenever I e-mail anything from my AW51G box with Solaris 8, I keep =
getting a sendmail error that says "unable to qualify my own domain name
(AWNAME) - using short name".

=20

I looked this up on Google, and they keep telling you to put an entry in =
the /etc/hosts file with the IP address and domain name, but they are =
assuming that you have a valid domain name (in DNS I suppose) , which I =
really don't. Has anybody figured out how to get rid of this error =
message?
