Hi Thom,
This is an interesting problem. Can you enter this CP with ICC?
If you try that and it reports with a "database locked" /override?"
message, and you override: can you then run the save_all script for this
CP only with
"save_All.sh -s THCP01"?
Curious for the results.
Timeout is used for other things too. For instance it is used for the
delay when you delete backup save_all automatically.
It will not get you into trouble though.

Subject: [foxboro] Save_all question
The save_all script works GREAT. I will be utilizing it after I fix
this one problem.
The script fails to create a save_all for one CP (THCP01). I have
attached the save_all log.
The log suggests that there was a problem checkpointing the CP (class
=1, error= -4, text = icChkptStn: c_worevent failure). After that
failure was detected, the CP locked up and became unavailable during the
save_all step.
From the time stamp, it looks like the checkpoint error occurred about
10 minutes after upload completion. That is too coincidental with the
default TIMEOUT setting (10). I'm thinking that the parameter setting
needs to be increased.
I'm going to give this a try after lunch, but just wanted to know:
1. Is TIMEOUT used for anything else?
2. Has anyone encountered this problem? If so, what was the solution?
Thanks,
t
