Your statement:

Currently (as of v8.2) the check point file is still being stored on the
AW that hosts the CP so at least "dbvu" still works.

Was discussed last week and Russ Boulay claims that there is an
incorrect map file was ported to the MESH side and that dbvu does not
work. I assumed that this means that the file will get corrected and
that dbvu will eventually work.
