I generally just kill it, and restart it. Don't forget to run it like this
"/usr/sbin/inetd -s" as Foxbor has not set things up corectly to allow it
trun W/O the -s flag :-(
As long as you don't termiante your existing connesction
(ssh/rlogin/telnet) you won;t have a problem. However, if you do this
remotley, and log out, you won't be ablle to get back in :-(. If the
machine is at a remote location, this cna get interesting.
