You mention Aspentech.  If you have Infoplus/21 report generation is
very easy with the SQLPlus tool provided with IP/21.

Hi list,
I am looking for any information on Report Writer or other software that
is
comparable.  We have to be able to perform scheduled tasks to retrieve
data
from the historian and perform some analyses on the data (hourly and
daily
averages etc).  I have looked at Report Writer and Aspentech
(manufacturing
suite Data Explorer).  Does anyone know of another program and has
anyone
used either of the above for this type of data collection and reporting?
