First, you have nothing to lose by using the DM to FV conversion
process.
There are very few issues with this process.
A few users will run into issues here and there depending on how their
DM
graphics were built.

95% of users that migrate to FV convert their graphics without incident
and
then may take advantage of FV features by replacing vessels and other
fixtures with 3D replacement., or moveable overlays..etc.

If you decide to totally rebuild:,
you can build on XP,
then convert the .fdf files to .g
copy display to Unix
.g back to .fdf

Version 9.01 with latest QF is your desired FV

Subject: [foxboro] Foxview Graphics

Hi List

Due to progress (or evolution - who knows), I need to move my Display
Manager graphics to Foxview on Solaris (Foxboro I/A AW51F Ver.7.1) . I
am
aware that converting them is not the preferred option therefore I will
need
to rebuild them. Fortunately there are not too many approximately 300
graphics and overlays. With the loss of screen real estate in Foxview
this
will probably go up to 400. This can still done.

My questions are -
1. Can I build these graphics on an AW70 (Foxboro I/A Ver 7.1) and then
convert or move
them to the Solaris station or do I need to rebuild them on a
Solaris
AW/WP station?
2. What version of Foxview / Foxdraw would be the best to use?

Thanks
