Re: [foxboro] Remote Display Manager time out

The dmcfg file can limit access to specific AW/WP DMs, but I don't know if
it has the flexibility you require (it's done by IP address mostly IIRC).

The base DM/FV will not time-limit sessions. I put a quick and dirty
script up on Cassandra to do it (based on changes in display name and
$PICK1), and as previously mentioned, Feedforward has a little utility to
do it as well (based on seeing mouse/keyboard events in your X server). My
script works fine for my purposes, but the Feedforward approach is arguably
more elegant, and with theirs you can reset your time by merely moving the
mouse in the DM/FV window.

Folks,

I vaguely remember the IA System having the ability to limit the time
remote
users are logged in and tying up Display Managers. And limiting remote
access to specific AW/WP DMs? I don't see it in the dmcfg file, and I have
searched all of my resources but cannot find anything on the subject. Can
someone please confirm this feature is available, and point me in the right
direction.

Thanks in advance for the help ...
