Pablo,
You are correct - you don't need to recommitt to change DNBT to DNBI.
I assume you used the splitter cable (P0971YQ) on the AW70? This connects the
UTP and RS232 (for switching) onto the one UTP cable. (Check manual B0193AC).
Mind you, not having the Serial connection should only inhibit being able to
switch cables (as far as I know).
And you did remember to raise the elevator? Not having a link light on the DNBT
means you don't have even the most basic connection ...

No, I didn't re-commit the system..... in fact, there is no change in System
Definition, as you don't specify (you can't) the interface to the nodebus
foran AW or WP station in SysDef. Looking in Foxboro documentation, I read
that the DNB(whatever) only work as signal converters.....
