Russ,
I saved off all the custom files and did the day 0 as you say, then reinstalled
the env's, displays, CAD's and control db that I had previously saved. I used
the dispalmcnfg package to build the am's and dm's from the .am file and ended
up with a different CAD screen than I had before with no updates.

Ron,
To go from V8.1 to V8.3 is a day0 install You would have to save off many
custom files to do the upgrade.
What exactly was your procedure?
Normally....
Save off all custom files, displays, env's, control db CAD's etc.
Peform dell recovery to wipe pout the machine to shippable image.
Install SP2 on top of dell recovery for V8.2 machines Committ install I/A to
V8.2 and the release update to v8.3 Reload custom files..

Subject: [foxboro] Process Alarms
List,
I have numerous P92 boxes with I/A Ver 8.1 installed. We are on an outage and
now have the the opportunity to upgrade the boxes to ver 8.3 that we purchased
some time ago. I ghosted one P92 so I could get the correct drivers and
version of Windows XP on the box. I installed the new version of I/A and all
works correctly except the CAD alarms which has been customized. Has anyone
had this problem and if so which files might could I have forgotten to install
or copy over to the new install.
Thanks for you help.
